EU-SID CBG Technology Expert

Major Responsibilities:

1. Industry insights: Be responsible for industrial insights on core CBG’s European industries, including Cloud services, finance/payments, advertising, maps, mobile health, mandatory standards, etc., which should take the lead in trend analysis, industry policies, and suggestions to local business operations.
2. Business communications: Communicate with the CBG teams in China, streamline the business requirements of Europe and China, and take the lead in project planning based on actual requirements, regular project management and reporting, and important milestone reviews.
3. Standardization: Participate in international standards meetings for core services of Huawei CBG, track the trend of CBG-related standards, take the lead in standard proposals in Europe SDOs (Standards Development Organizations), and contribute to international standards.
4. Industry activities: Proactively plan and hold industry activities, guide the establishment and maintenance of the communication mechanism with European executives or high-end experts, and maintain the role for Huawei as European contributors.
5. Academic cooperation: Be responsible for local academic cooperation in the CBG business in Europe and lead academic activities, including research papers.

Core Competencies:

1. PhD graduates in engineering (Computer Science/Electronic Engineering/Information System, etc.)
2. Have excellent analysis capabilities and systematic thinking, and understand basic insight analysis methodologies.
3. Have a good background in engineering R&D or software development.
4. Be willing to communicate in multi-culture environment, and be good at summarizing
5. Language requirements: English as work language, supplemented by Chinese reporting skills
