Mechanical Supervisor - GO4ZERO Project

Project Overview:
The GO4ZERO initiative is a highly ambitious project aimed at significantly reducing the
environmental footprint in clinker production through the adoption of innovative and sustainable
practices. Transitioning clinker production at Obourg from a wet process using chalk to a dry process
using limestone involves the extraction and processing of calcium carbonate-rich limestone. This
pivotal project also encompasses substantial infrastructure developments including railway
connections to facilitate limestone transport from Vaulx (Tournai) to Obourg, representing an
investment of up to 350 million euros in total.
Role Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Supervisor to drive the mechanical aspects of the cement
kiln package under the GO4ZERO project. The role involves strategic oversight during the study (10%
to 20% of working time) and realization phases (80% to 90% of working time), ensuring the
integration of mechanical components with environmental sustainability objectives at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities:
During the Study Phase (10% to 20% of working time):
Validate supplier designs for the Obourg site.
Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, purchase requests, and order forms while
supervising the procurement and construction activities to ensure compliance with project
specifications.
Coordinate and collaborate with engineers across various disciplines to ensure seamless
information flow and adherence to project requirements.
During the Realization Phase (80% to 90% of working time):
Manage on-site decisions at Obourg with a strict zero-accident target.
Ensure qualitative contract fulfillment and participate in equipment performance tests.
Oversee the installation and maintenance of key mechanical systems, including kiln line with
preheater, calciner, clinker cooler, bag filters, RTO, SNCR, wet scrubber, WHR, VRM and raw
material management, water treatment, compressed air production; alternative fuel
facilities, ensuring they meet operational standards and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
More than 10 years of mechanical supervisor experience, specifically in mechanical
maintenance within the cement or metallurgy or mining or quarrying industries.
Proven track record in overseeing mechanical aspects of large-scale industrial and
processing projects.
Demonstrated field experience in Mechanical works.
Fluent in French. Good English skills expected. Chinese language optional. Excellent
communication, coordination, and technical documentation skills.
Ability to identify problems, devise suitable solutions, and seek assistance when necessary. Effective communicator within and across team boundaries.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of mechanical works and other related disciplines such as lubrication,
piping, welding and steel structure.
Able to read technical drawings, identifying locations and number of pieces.
Proficient with mechanical transport systems like belt, screw, chain, apron conveyors,
stackers/reclaimers, VRM, fan, kiln, pumps and associated peripheral devices.
In-depth experience with rotary equipment and machine assemblies including shaft

Principales responsabilités :
En tant que Quality Engineer, vous rejoignez une équipe dynamique composée de 2 Quality Engineers et travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec le Quality Manager. - Devenir le Key User (utilisateur référent) des systèmes informatiques liés à la Qualité Produit.

Wie zijn wij?
Het provinciaal Centrum voor Leerlingenbegeleiding (CLB) staat in voor leerlingenbegeleiding in 35 scholen voor basisonderwijs en secundair onderwijs. Leerlingen, ouders en scholen kunnen rechtstreeks bij ons terecht met vragen over leren en studeren, de mogelijkheden in de schoolloopbaan, gezondheid en het algemeen welbevinden. Streven naar het welzijn bij onze leerlingen is de motor van ons handelen. Het provinciaal CLB wil dat leerlingen en studenten zich goed voelen op school, zowel mentaal, lichamelijk als emotioneel.
Wij zijn op zoek naar een administratief-financieel medewerker om ons secretariaatsteam te versterken.
Takenpakket
Als buitendienst van de provincie Antwerpen is het CLB verantwoordelijk om bepaalde taken uit te voeren die kaderen binnen de provinciale beleidslijnen. Als administratief-financieel medewerker ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor de opvolging en uitvoering van deze taken binnen het CLB. Je kunt hierbij steeds rekenen op de ondersteuning van jouw collega’s op het CLB en van de provinciale diensten Boekhouding, Begroting, Logistiek, Leefmilieu …
- Je bent binnen het secretariaatsteam de hoofdverantwoordelijke voor de boekhouding en de begroting van het CLB: voorbereiden meerjarenplanning, doorgeven begrotingswijzigingen, opvolgen in- en uitgaven, opmaken financiële rapporten, voorbereiden halfjaarlijks intern financieel overleg, …
- Samen met je collega ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opvragen van offertes, contacten met leveranciers en raamcontractanten, het opstellen en verwerken van facturen, …
- Samen met je collega ben je verantwoordelijk voor gebouwenbeheer: storingen melden, keuringen in orde brengen, structureel overleg met dienst Logistiek en contractanten, …
- Je bent binnen het CLB het milieuaanspreekpunt. Je werkt concrete acties uit voor het CLB die kaderen binnen de provinciale milieudoelstellingen om het ISO 14001 certificaat te behouden
- Als preventieverantwoordelijke volg je de risico’s uit het globaal preventieplan CLB op en bereid je het jaarlijks bedrijfsbezoek en de noodoefeningen voor
- Je bent de tussenpersoon voor de verzekeringen (hospitalisatieverzekering, arbeidsongevallen, omnium dienstverplaatsingen, …)
- Je voert enkele taken uit in de personeelswerking- en administratie, namelijk de opvolging van de poetshulpen en het indienen van de vervoersonkosten
Daarnaast sta je samen met je collega’s van het secretariaat in voor:
- een vriendelijk en laagdrempelig onthaal (telefonisch, e-mail en face-to-face)
- de verdeling van kantoormateriaal, de planning van vergaderzalen, hulp bij printen, postverdeling, …
- de praktische organisatie van evenementen (teambuilding, algemene vergadering, …)
Profiel
- Je hebt tenminste een bachelor diploma. Indien je geen bachelordiploma hebt maar wel 2 jaar relevante ervaring, kan je deelnemen na het afleggen van een succesvolle capaciteitsproef (redeneertest op bachelor denkniveau).
- Je beschikt over uitstekende organisatorische en administratieve vaardigheden
- Je bent veelzijdig en flexibel. Je hebt interesse om diverse taken te doen, bij te leren en je te verdiepen in nieuwe taken
- Je beschikt over een flinke dosis empathisch vermogen en staat open voor verschillende culturen en ideologieën
- Je kunt vlot overweg met Outlook, MS Office en internettoepassingen
- Je hebt idealiter al een eerste ervaring met boekhouding en begroting
- Je beschikt over een uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands (mondeling en schriftelijk)
- Je hebt een basiskennis Engels en Frans (mondeling en schriftelijk). Kennis van andere talen is een meerwaarde
