We are looking for a Integration Engineer based in Lisbon.

 

Job Role:

The Integration Engineer is data driven to create insights and trends to more effectively and efficiently manage their tasks. Using data analytical skills to help them; analyze, prepare, implement and execute test cases and,
verify the configuration and integration of a node/network/system.
Adhering to responsible business practices ensuring compliance to; group, legal and financial directives, global and local Occupation and Environmental Health and Safety (O+EHS), information and product security and
privacy, using relevant processes and tools.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Support presales activities:  Data driven to analyze the customer needs and recommend product and service solutions on a high level; Analyze the existing network with regards to needs and possibilities for the customer; Analyze how planned implementation impacts existing network; Propose  features and solutions based on the Network Analysis; Propose migration, test & acceptance strategy 
  2. Plan integration implementation:Define the service scope for the service delivery; Estimate cost and time for the implementation; Plan for the order of the activities needed; Plan verification, test, and migration activities;  Define
    quality check points; Define test and migration strategy, test, and migration environment requirements
  3. Execute integration delivery: Define which parameters to set/change/delete; Secure that templates and tools exist for the script collection and production; Collect configuration data according to agreed templates and process; Use agreed tools to create DT/Scripts/files; Verify  DT/Scripts/files according to applicable procedure;  Run test cases according to test specifications
  4. Secure OSS, HW, SW, licenses and configuration data is available in correct format/version; Store configuration data on the node/OSS; Perform the Integration and migration work; Perform trouble shooting and solve possible problems; Go through exit criteria (health checks, known faults, licenses etc); Create project CSR for faults found; Prepare completion report in applicable format
  5. Prepare integration testing: Define system, module, and acceptance test cases; Prepare system, module and acceptance test documentation; Prepare handover documentation; Describe the delivered solution in a document
  6. Perform troubleshooting: Troubleshoot based on process review (inputs, actions and expected results) when an integration problem is; Escalate problems to Integration Support Unit (ITAC) or Customer Support; Support the Root  Cause Analysis of Integration problems; Troubleshoot together in Integration CSR team to find a suitable solution to solve; Root Cause Handling of Integration problems 
  7. Drive integration improvements:  Analyze processes, methods, and tools with regards to performance and quality; Suggest, drive, and implement new ways of working; Perform Technical Impact analysis activities part of a Life Cycle Management engagement; Analyses the solution from an end-to-end perspective and break it down into workable pieces.

 

Qualifications:

  • Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom)
  • Very Good knowledge of IP protocols and equipment.
  • Good understanding of telecommunication networks and network elements (architectures, network topologies & standards).
  • More than 1 years in a similar position
  • Proficient English written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of LINUX operating systems is a plus.
  • Ability to react quickly, communication and teamwork.
  • Ability to work on legal holidays or during nights, only if requested.
  • Concentrated and distributive attention.
  • Analytical technical thinking and good interpersonal skills.
  • Collect, classify, and interpret information.
  • Perseverance, task orientation, concentration power, curiosity about documenting and problem solving, practical spirit, advising, helping, and developing others, tact, kindness, ambition, self-confidence.

 

Location: Lisbon – hybrid work model
Working hours: 9 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday
