We are a Huawei research center based in Amsterdam, specializing in speech synthesis and artificial intelligence. We are looking for a talented and motivated researcher to join our team and work on ASR and TTS projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct original research on ASR and TTS (voice cloning/conversion), using deep learning and neural networks.
  • Develop and implement novel algorithms and models for speech recognition, generation, voice conversion, and voice cloning.
  • Evaluate the performance of ASR and TTS systems in multiple languages, using objective and subjective metrics.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to integrate and deploy the developed solutions.
  • Publish and present the research outcomes in top-tier conferences and journals.
  • Collaborate with native speakers and linguistic experts of different languages for performance improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • PhD or Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields, with a focus on speech processing, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience in ASR and TTS, with proven track record of delivering high-quality products and solutions.
  • Strong background and experience in ASR and TTS, with knowledge of the state-of-the-art methods and
  • Proficient in Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow, with experience in developing and testing speech synthesis
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to speak and write in multiple languages.
