We are looking for a Junior Network Engineer based in Lisbon.

Job Role:

• Responsible for performing analysis, audit, design, and optimization of telecom networks based on technical knowledge. The Network Engineer role is applicable in areas of RAN, Transport, Core, OM and Services Networks. The Network Engineer may be engaged in the whole process from early engagement, pre-sales of services and networks to service delivery and acceptance. 
• The role is focused on:
  1) Based on deep technical understanding and ability to extract insight from e.g. network data to deliver high quality network design, audit and optimization services according to Ericsson requirements and customer needs and specifications.
  2) Based on advanced technical network analysis, supports pre-sales org, e.g. Solution Architects, with credible business opportunities for services, products and SW sales.
  3) Be able to work with new Ericsson analytics solutions related to automation and ML tools.
  4) Work independently and provide quality deliverables per project or service scope.
  5) Drive technology innovation aiming at identifying project efficiencies, new solutions and services.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver and Discuss Technical Solutions:  Work with scope-based deliveries and processes automation; Working in one Service Area with less complex project; Analyze customer technology and technical project requirements
2. Assist in pre-sales:  Collect customer requirements from RFQ or directly from customer

Qualifications:

• Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom)
• Ability to perform analysis and thereby creating valuable insight of the customers networks.
• Technical knowledge in the network area of working domains (Radio, Transport, and Core)

Location: Lisbon – hybrid work model
Working hours: 9 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday
