JOB DESCRIPTION
Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering (ABEE) is a dynamic engineering company specialized in battery and energy technologies for automotive and stationary applications. ABEE is hiring a Junior Cell Design Engineer to join the cell design team to work on GEN 3b batteries. This position will be in Brussels, Belgium.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work on cell optimization and scale up of GEN 3b batteries.
- Assist in transferring technologies from the laboratory to the pilot scale.
- Design experiments, evaluate technical results and prepare reports.
- Participate in international projects.
- Collaborate closely with the cell design team to reach objectives under tight deadlines.
- Bring innovative solutions to battery cell development.
WHO YOU ARE
- Hold a BSc or MSc in chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science, or related fields.
- Proven track record of working in a wet chemistry or electrochemistry laboratory.
- Comfortable with working on ambitious roadmaps and delivering quality results on time.
- Previous experience with battery cell development preferred.
- Familiar with working in multicultural and diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English speaking and writing.
