Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the harmonization of recruitment practices across Huawei's European Research Centers within the European Research Institute (ERI). The successful candidate will play a vital role in achieving standardization of recruitment procedures in alignment with Huawei's global standards, while ensuring compliance with the legal requirements of each country where the Research Centers are located.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and coordinate the harmonization project for recruitment practices across European Research Centers.
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment framework that adheres to Huawei's global standards and aligns with the specific legal requirements of each country.
  3. Collaborate closely with HR teams in each Research Center to assess current recruitment processes, identify gaps, and propose appropriate solutions.
  4. Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with the established recruitment framework.
  5. Develop and deliver training programs for HR teams across the Research Centers to ensure proper understanding and implementation of the standardized recruitment procedures.
  6. Serve as the main point of contact for any recruitment-related queries from team members across the Research Centers.
  7. Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between Research Centers to promote best practices and enhance recruitment efficiency.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest recruitment trends and industry best practices to continuously improve the recruitment processes.
  9. Act as a representative of the ERI, maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders across the Research Centers, HR teams, and other relevant departments.
  10. Travel extensively across Europe to visit Research Centers and provide on-site support, training, and guidance as required.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  2. Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong focus on recruitment or HR processes.
  3. Fluency in Chinese, English, and one European local language is essential.
  4. Solid understanding of recruitment practices, employment laws, and labor market trends across Europe.
  5. Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  7. Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.
  8. Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  9. Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to effectively manage diverse teams and stakeholders across Europe.
  10. Availability to travel frequently within Europe to support Research Centers and collaborate with local HR teams.
