What are we looking for?

To reinforce our Technology team at the Electric Mobility Unit (Polo da Maia), we are looking for a Mechanical Product Engineer to support the Mechanical Project and Design of electric vehicle charging stations.

 

Mission:

  • Design and alteration of structures for electrical and electronic equipment;
  • Work with suppliers to identify cost-effective solutions with the intended durability;
  • Find solutions to accommodate requirements arising from electrical, thermal and electronic design;
  • Search for simple, durable, cost-effective and ergonomically minded solutions for production, service and end-users;
  • Support the certification team to carry out the necessary tests in the field of mechanical safety.

 

Profile:

  • BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Structural, Industrial or Aeronautical Engineering;
  • More than 2 years of experience in the development of mechanical structures (exterior and interior);
  • Knowledge of structural calculation, mechanical engineering and design;
  • Experience in using 3D CAD in Sheet metal, using tools such as Solidworks;
  • Knowledge of assembly and metalworking production processes;
  • Ability to work with goals and deadlines;
  • Customer orientation and teamwork ability;
  • High ability to solve problems;
  • Good learning ability;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Good knowledge of English.
