What are we looking for?
To reinforce our Technology team at the Electric Mobility Unit (Polo da Maia), we are looking for a Mechanical Product Engineer to support the Mechanical Project and Design of electric vehicle charging stations.
Mission:
- Design and alteration of structures for electrical and electronic equipment;
- Work with suppliers to identify cost-effective solutions with the intended durability;
- Find solutions to accommodate requirements arising from electrical, thermal and electronic design;
- Search for simple, durable, cost-effective and ergonomically minded solutions for production, service and end-users;
- Support the certification team to carry out the necessary tests in the field of mechanical safety.
Profile:
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Structural, Industrial or Aeronautical Engineering;
- More than 2 years of experience in the development of mechanical structures (exterior and interior);
- Knowledge of structural calculation, mechanical engineering and design;
- Experience in using 3D CAD in Sheet metal, using tools such as Solidworks;
- Knowledge of assembly and metalworking production processes;
- Ability to work with goals and deadlines;
- Customer orientation and teamwork ability;
- High ability to solve problems;
- Good learning ability;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Good knowledge of English.
