Purpose of the position

This position will be directly involved in the Training and development Process. Ranging from giving Training courses to developing a Training Strategy for the years to come.

The aim is not only to support the M&E Training Team but also to create efficient and effective trainings by using the most appropriate training methods responding to the different needs, ensuring that all technical staff is trained in line with regulations.

 

Main tasks & responsibilities:

 

Development:

  • Propose a yearly training schedule, making sure that all staff remains in line with the correct and updated licenses needed to perform the assigned tasks and duties
  • In addition to the Tasks of a Technical Instructor the Senior Technical Trainer supports the Training Manager in the organisation of longer Term Training Strategy at Maintenance and Engineering

Training:

  • Teach internal courses on various topics (MOE, CAME, Human Factors, etc)(at various times (mostly during the day but occasionally late & night shifts)
  • Build trainings using the right format responding to the different needs
  • Follow-up on the realization of trainings and make sure that certification database is correctly updated
  • Compile questions for examination banks
  • Update training database
  • Build CBT’s (Computer based training), make sure they are up-to-date
  • Ensure the trainings and examinations are conducted in a manner that complies with all relevant requirements.

Internships and new joiners:

  • Introduction and follow-up internships
  • Take on a Mentor role and coordinate Mentor role for others
  • Training of new hired technicians and follow-up their evolution throughout the different stages in their career
  • Perform assessments of students and candidate employees/contractors
  • Together with the different line managers and the Training Manager, you define the technical training program to be in line with their needs and what is required by different regulations.

 

Your profile

Required diploma and relevant experiences

  • Technical Higher Secondary Education ( University/Educational Degree preferred )
  • Senior expertise in giving courses
  • Good knowledge of EASA Part M, Part-145, Part-66

Required technical skills

  • 7 years of experience as performer, of which at least 2-3 years as B1 or B2 technician (Holder of a part-66 license) and experience on Airbus A320/A330, or having passed the examinations on the Part-66 basic modules
  • Defining and conducting examinations on Staff
  • Good knowledge of EASA procedures
  • Languages: fluent English, Dutch and/or French is a plus
  • MS-Office/ eLearning Software
  • Didactical skills

  • Stress resistant
