Human Resources Intern

McDonald’s is the largest restaurant chain in the world and also striving to be the most people-oriented enterprise around the globe.

There are currently 102 McDonald’s restaurants in Belgium, run by 25 independent entrepreneurs (Franchisees). Because our business is growing fast-paced, we are looking for talented people to reinforce our head offices that provide support to all restaurants.

About the job

In this role as HR and Training Intern you provide all-round assistance in implementing People Initiatives that drive business results.

Tasks may include (but are not limited to):

• Development of training materials;
• Provide all-round support for recruitment campaigns;
• Assist with overall recruitment process and when a new restaurant opens
• Creation and execution of employee engagement initiatives;
• Supporting with HR admin
• Translating of campaigning & training materials and other communication materials;
• HR data collection & analysis – linking to the business
• Provide administrative Support for both the HR & Training where needed

About you now

To be able to excel in this role, we believe you need to possess:

• Preferably obtaining/schooled with a Bachelor/Master degree in Human Resources Management/Psychology or similar
• Excellent communication and teamworking skills
• You are pragmatic & discrete, thrives as part of a team but can also function autonomously
• A result driven mindset and the talent to multi-task
• Fluency in Dutch and French and a good knowledge of English is definitely an advantage
• Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Publisher)
